View filters →The fastest match is the OEM part number stamped on the end cap or label of your old filter — read it to us and we’ll cross-reference it against our database of competitor part numbers. No legible number? Give us the collector make and model and we’ll identify the filter from there. Then choose the media that fits the job:
| Media | What It Is | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Cellulose blend (80/20) | Economy media — 80% cellulose, 20% polyester | Dry, ambient dust at moderate temperature and humidity |
| Spunbond polyester | Durable synthetic media; washable options available | Moisture, sticky dust, and harsh environments |
| Nanofiber | MERV 15 class — dust loads on the media surface instead of embedding in it | Pulses clean easier and lasts longer at lower pressure drop; fine dust and fume |
| Fire-retardant & carbon-antistatic | FR-treated media; carbon impregnation dissipates static charge | Spark-prone processes and combustible dust applications |
About MERV ratings: MERV (ASHRAE 52.2) scores a filter’s capture efficiency — the higher the number, the finer the particles it stops. Spec what the application actually needs: weld fume typically calls for MERV 15 or better, while dry nuisance dust is often well served by an 80/20 cartridge.
The gauge to watch is differential pressure across the filters. A common industry rule of thumb: around 4 in. w.g., order replacements; at 5 in. w.g., plan the changeout; by 6 in. w.g., replace. Also replace immediately if you find dust on the clean-air side of the collector (a torn filter or failed gasket seal) or visible tears in the media. Dirty-looking media alone is not a reason to change — an established dust cake actually improves filtration.
Popular replacement filters, stocked in our warehouse and priced online — add them to your quote list and we’ll confirm availability and freight.
Filters last longest when the whole collector is looked after. Pair your replacements with the ACTAssure™ maintenance program — regular system inspection, scheduled filter changeouts, and troubleshooting from the same team that supplies your filters, so pressure-drop problems get caught before they cost you airflow.
