The ACT Group services, designs and supplies industrial dust collection for the Inland Empire from our shop in Fontana — baghouse and cartridge collector service, replacement filters on the shelf, dust suppression, ventilation and NFPA 660 compliance for the cement, aggregate, recycling and processing plants of Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Inside the South Coast AQMD, since 1991.
The Inland Empire has more cement kilns, aggregate operations and bulk-processing plants per square mile than anywhere else on the West Coast, and it sits inside the strictest air district in the country. That combination is our whole business. From 14644 El Molino St. in Fontana we service baghouses in Colton and Rialto, cartridge collectors in Ontario and Riverside, and dust control systems from the Cajon Pass to the Coachella Valley. Two of the three companies that formed The ACT Group did nothing but air pollution control, and our customers in the region include CalPortland, Cemex and Granite Construction.
Inside the District: We operate under South Coast AQMD every day — Rule 403 fugitive dust, Rule 1157 for aggregate operations, permit conditions on collectors — and the High Desert’s Mojave Desert AQMD. We know what an inspector looks at because we see it every week.
Filters on the Shelf: Donaldson, Camfil, Imperial Systems, UAS, Nederman/Pneumafil and RoboVent cartridges and bags stocked in Fontana. A change-out in the Inland Empire is a single visit, often the same day you call.
Design Through Service: New collection systems engineered and fabricated in our 18,000 sq/ft Fontana shop, installed by our crews, and kept in compliance by the same people afterward.
Baghouse and cartridge collector service: Bag and cartridge change-outs, cage and venturi replacement, leak detection, pulse-valve and timer repair, differential-pressure troubleshooting and rebuilds — see baghouse & dust collector servicing.
Dust collection system design and installation: Hood capture, duct sizing, collector and fan selection by the ACGIH method — start with our free System Designer.
Dust suppression: Fog, spray and foam systems for truck dumps, crushers, transfer points and stockpiles at aggregate and recycling sites — see dust suppression.
Combustible dust and NFPA 660: Dust hazard analysis and explosion protection hardware for wood, biomass, feed and other combustible dusts — see explosion protection.
Replacement filters: Cartridges and bags for the major brands, in stock in Fontana — see dust collector replacement filters.
Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Colton, San Bernardino, Redlands, Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley, Perris, Jurupa Valley, Chino, Pomona, Beaumont and Banning; the High Desert — Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Lucerne Valley and Barstow; and the Coachella Valley. Same-day service across most of Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Notice of violation, a collector that will not hold pressure, or a change-out due before the next inspection? Call and a Fontana crew is moving with the filters on the truck.

Inside the South Coast AQMD, with the filters on the shelf in Fontana
South Coast AQMD’s fugitive-dust rule applies to the truck dump, the stockpile and the transfer point just as much as the baghouse stack. Inland Empire plants get cited for the dust they didn’t collect, not the dust they did. That is why our dust work starts with a walk-down of every source, not with a catalog.
Cartridges and bags for the collectors we see most across the Inland Empire, ready for same-day pickup or delivery with the service call.
Usually the same day. We are in Fontana, so Ontario, Rialto, Colton, Riverside and Corona are under an hour, and we keep the common filters in stock. Call (888) 480-0680.
We prepare the engineering data — airflow, control efficiency, emissions — that permit applications and compliance reports need, and we keep collectors performing to their permit conditions. For High Desert plants we work under the Mojave Desert AQMD the same way.
All of them. Donaldson Torit, Camfil, Imperial Systems, UAS, Nederman, RoboVent, MikroPul and the older baghouses common at Inland Empire cement and aggregate plants. Filters for the major brands are on our shelf.
Yes — engineered and fabricated in our Fontana shop, installed by our crews. Start with the free System Designer on our site for a draft, then we review it with you and turn it into a permit-ready system.
