The Stockpile · Pile 01 — The Services
One team for the whole dust problem — survey, split, install, maintain.
The umbrella program: a plant-wide look at where dust is generated, then the right mix of collection, suppression, ventilation and housekeeping to control it — engineered, installed and maintained by one team. This is the service to start with when the problem is “dust, everywhere” rather than one machine.
Scoping a collection system yourself? Our free Dust Collection Designer walks the inputs. Bring the output to the walk-down and we’ll pressure-test it together.
| Problem looks like | Layer | Tool |
|---|---|---|
| Visible plume at an outdoor transfer or dump | Suppression | Dry fog or spray at the source |
| Dust hanging indoors where people work | Collection + ventilation | Capture design feeding a collector |
| Dust escaping a “sealed” load zone | Containment | Skirting, settling zone, then fog if needed |
| Regulator wants numbers | Collection | Permitted, measurable, filtered air |
| Dust that burns — wood, grain, plastics | All of it, by code | NFPA-driven design — see explosion protection |
Fixed, enclosable sources favor collection; open and moving sources favor suppression. Most plants need some of each. The walk-down decides it source by source — guessing is how plants end up with a collector that never worked.
Yes. Surveys are non-invasive, and installs are scheduled around your operation — nights, weekends and outage windows included.
It is dust control engineering. It supports compliance — exposure, housekeeping, opacity — and pairs with our explosion protection service for NFPA combustible dust requirements.
Reading about it is free. So is the phone call. Some answers only come from climbing into the equipment — that’s the part we do in person. Tell us the plant, the part and the problem, and you’ll get a real person.
