ACTAssure™ maintenance program

Maintenance as a calendar, not a series of surprises.

3 min readUpdated Aug 2026

What the program is

ACTAssure™ is scheduled care for your whole material-handling system: a standing maintenance agreement with planned visits, a defined inspection scope, documented findings and priority response when something breaks between visits. It turns maintenance from a series of phone calls into a calendar.

Why plants sign up

  • Findings before failures. Most conveyor failures announce themselves weeks ahead — a warm bearing, a fraying edge, a stopped roller. Scheduled eyes catch them while they are still a parts order.
  • One accountable team. The crew that inspects is the company that stocks the parts and runs the emergency line.
  • Budgetable maintenance. A known scope at a known cadence, instead of surprise invoices.
  • History that compounds. Every visit documents the same equipment — trends emerge, and so do the chronic offenders worth engineering away.

What a visit covers

Belts, splices and cleaners; idlers, pulleys and lagging; skirting and transfer points; drives and take-ups; collectors and flow aids as fitted. Scope is set to your plant — and adjusted as the plant changes.

What a walkdown covers

SystemChecked
Belts & splicesCondition, tracking, splice health, edge wear
Cleaners & skirtingBlade wear and tension, seal condition, carryback level
Rolling componentsIdlers, pulleys, lagging — the seized, the worn, the caked
Flow aidsCannons fire-tested, vibrators checked, sequences verified
Dust systemsCollector DP, suppression nozzles, visible emissions
Housekeeping red flagsPiles, dust layers, guards — the audit-day surprises

What you get after each visit

  • A condition report in plain language — green / watch / fix-now, with photos.
  • A parts forecast — what will need replacing before the next visit, so it’s on the shelf, not on a rush order.
  • Trend history — each visit builds the record that turns surprises into schedules.

Enrolling: what we need

  • The equipment — conveyor count and the systems that hurt most
  • A cadence — monthly and quarterly are the common picks
  • A contact who wants the report and will act on it — the program works exactly as hard as that person

Frequently asked questions

How is pricing structured?

By scope and cadence — what equipment, how often. You see the standing scope before signing anything, and it flexes as your plant changes.

Does the program include emergency response?

Program customers get priority dispatch on the 24-hour line. The crew that knows your plant is the one that shows up.

Can we start small?

Most programs do — a quarterly route on the critical conveyors, growing as the documentation proves its worth.
