The Stockpile · Pile 02 — The Parts
Bags, cartridges and the pulse parts around them — for most major collectors.
Replacement filtration for the collectors that keep your plant breathing: filter bags and cages, pleated cartridges, and the pulse-system parts around them — solenoids and repair kits, diaphragm valves, timers, gauges and clamps. Stocked for Camfil Farr, Donaldson Torit, Imperial Systems, Pneumafil, RoboVent, UAS and more.
Bags that fail in months signal a design or operating problem — air-to-cloth pushed too high, wet pulse air, or abrasive inlet velocity. Diagnose before the next change-out; the diagnosis usually pays for itself in bag life.
| Media | Continuous temp (approx.) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Polyester | To ~275°F | General dry dust — the default workhorse |
| Aramid (Nomex®-type) | To ~400°F | Hot processes — dryers, kilns, asphalt |
| PTFE membrane (on any base) | Per base media | Fine, sticky or agglomerating dust; best cake release and emissions |
| P84® | To ~500°F | High temperature plus fine dust capture |
| Fiberglass | To ~500°F | Very hot gas streams — boilers, carbon black |
| Spunbond polyester (cartridge) | To ~200°F | Cartridge collectors; washable variants for some dusts |
Finishes matter too: singed, glazed, oleophobic/hydrophobic and antistatic treatments are chosen from the dust’s behavior. Send the collector model, the dust and the temperature — media selection is a two-minute conversation that prevents a premature change-out.
Send the collector make/model, the dust, and the operating temperature. Media selection is application engineering — a two-minute conversation prevents a premature failure.
Our ventilation systems carry MERV 15 efficiency — 99.9% on 0.3 to 0.5 micron, best in the industry for this equipment class. Collector media is specified per application.
Change-out service includes proper handling and disposal — important when the dust itself is regulated.
Reading about it is free. So is the phone call. Some answers only come from climbing into the equipment — that’s the part we do in person. Tell us the plant, the part and the problem, and you’ll get a real person.
