Rulmeca 138E & 165E Motorized Pulleys

Compact Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys for light-duty belt conveyors — the entire drive sealed inside a small-diameter pulley shell, ideal for tight spaces, mobile equipment, and low-tonnage lines.

Models & Specifications

  • 138E: 5.45″ diameter, 0.13–1.0 HP, belt speeds 10–300 fpm, face widths from 11.81″.
  • 165E: 6.44″ diameter, 0.15–3.0 HP, belt speeds 12–760 fpm, face widths from 15.75″.

Key Features:

  • Hermetically Sealed Drive: Motor, gearbox, and bearings are fully enclosed inside the pulley shell, protected and constantly lubricated by an internal oil bath — no exposure to dust, weather, or washdown.
  • Safer by Design: Far fewer external moving parts than an exposed motor/gearbox drive, making guarding simpler and reducing injury risk.
  • Compact & Lightweight: Typically 20–40% lighter than a comparable exposed drive arrangement — no external pillow block bearings, couplings, or guards.
  • Minimal Maintenance: No routine greasing — seals at ~30,000 operating hours and oil changes at ~50,000 hours.
  • Diamond-Pattern Lagging Standard: Black rubber lagging applied to suit horsepower and belt speed.
  • VFD Compatible: Pairs with variable frequency drives for soft starts and speed control.
