The current PSV roll generation features a triple-labyrinth hybrid seal system: stone guard, external wiper, labyrinth, and internal seal, so contamination never reaches the bearing.

In the load zone, Douglas impact idlers with rubber cushion discs absorb the energy of falling material — paired with proper skirting and sealing, impact protection is credited with extending belt life up to 300%.
