Bill Harris is the lead engineer at The ACT Group. Born in Michigan, he grew up in Southern California. His engineering journey began early. For example, Bill graduated from Don Bosco Technical Institute at 16. There, he earned a high school diploma as well as an AS Degree in Building and Construction Technology. Next, he studied Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Fullerton, for 2.5 years.

With a career spanning 44 years, Bill is a master of mechanical engineering and design. In fact, he holds 12 US patents and 18 international patents. His work covers a wide range of fields, such as food machinery, bottling and packaging systems, and aerospace components. Above all, Bill’s passion for mechanical engineering shines through in his diverse projects.

Bill’s hobbies mirror his professional life. For instance, he loves woodworking and tackling engineering projects at home. Beyond work, Bill is passionate about his wife and his Catholic faith. Likewise, these values drive his commitment to innovation and excellence.
