Applied Conveyor Technology’s trained and experienced staff of field technicians is available for new project installations, routine service inspections, conveyor belt maintenance contract work, and 24-hour emergency services. Our field personnel are made up of a team of working supervisors, millwrights, welders, mechanics, and mechanic’s assistants. ACT Field Crews are dispatched from Northern and Southern California and perform work in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
We will replace idlers, pulleys, belt cleaners (wipers), belt conveyor systems, and we also perform belt splicing, bag house cleaning and bag replacement.

The ACT Field Crews have provided mechanical services for many of our customers including Lehigh Cement, DTE Energy and New Indy Container, to name a few. The crews have also serviced conveyor belts, bag houses, dust collectors, and silos.
Our field technicians are OSHA certified. MSHA part 46 and 48 training, along with confined space training, forklift training and man lift training, is provided to all of our field crew technicians. Each year, ACT renews safety training for all of the company’s conveyor belt maintenance technicians. First Aid training is renewed every other year. ACT is a drug free company, with random testing performed each quarter and annual drug testing at safety training every year.
