JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary: The engineer functions in product design utilizing OSHA and MSHA safety, application review, customer
coordination, field operations and installations. Will recommend engineering changes and design modifications for
customer requirements. ACT works with Solid Works and AutoCAD, thus requires high proficiency with respect to
drawing.

Essential Job Duties/Functions:
Analyze and interprets customer need, and determines products for their applications
Requires in field/on Customer Site visits and field work
Perform infield trouble shooting and product modifications
Participate in design review, analyzing area of possible cost reduction and product modification and
improvement.
Provide costing for all projects with respect to materials, equipment, rental equipment etc.
Perform special marketing and engineering study assignment
Represent engineering or marketing on field trips, and in design meetings with customers
Assist Sales with presentation drawings and background work
Perform installation and startup function in the field
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of manufacturing and installation process and related economics
to utilize most efficient and economical methods in design application.
Manage projects that are assigned to the engineering department
Coordinate and work with customers to solve field problems with the product
Act as point of contact for the customer for technical information
Consultant to the field supervision in technical matters
Perform special drafting assignments as required.
Work closely with sales to ensure project engineering needs are being met
Responsible for acting as a profit center when implementing design specifications
Job Requirements:
5 years’ experience as a Draftsman
5 years’ experience in engineering atmosphere.
5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
A mechanical genre is preferred but not required.
Experienced working within an inventory-based company
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook helpful
Experience working with accounting software such as Quick Books preferred but not required
Hold a valid driver’s license
Education and/or Experience:
o High school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or a related field/technical certificate
o Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and
Access).
o Comfortable handling confidential information.
o Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Summary: The Office Assistant is responsible for assisting Customer Service lead and Engineering department with

Essential Job Duties/Functions:
Office
• Reduce the workload of other departments and serve as the go-to for office needs.
Customer Service
Receive incoming phone calls and direct to proper department
Complete job folders, filing and labeling, organizing hard copies
Scan closed PO’s and project folders and save on server.
Create account receivable invoice packets, team channels for new jobs, folders for service and projects.
Responsible for customer service-related calls and lead follow ups
Perform parts searches for pricing in QuickBooks for sales team.
Engineering Support
Maintain customer contact as required by Project Manager/Office Manager
Prepare and follow-up on purchase requisitions orders (when required)
Follow up with Project Manager and Engineer on current projects.
Supply Customer Service and Accounting with orders for data base management
Advise customer service of project status and changes
Attend weekly Open Projects meetings to discuss current projects
Parts Ordering and Oversight for both Customer Service and Engineering
Provide sales team with technical information and support
Acquire quotes and cost estimates
Prepare and follow-up on purchase requisitions orders (when required)
Keep updated part number logs
Create and assign new part numbers for Engineering and Customer Service
Confirm incoming orders for parts are received as ordered

ensuring that each of their top 150 customers are being contacted each month and that customer leads are being
followed up in a timely manner. Confer with CFO to ensure sales budgets are being adhered to. Implement new
marketing approaches. Work with vendors to negotiate competitive pricing on parts.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
The Mechanic Position at ACT requires a vast array of skills with a concentration on component installation. The
Mechanic is experienced in installing all types of machinery that comes with a manual. Pumps, air cannons, conveyor
components such as belt cleaners. The welding ability is sufficient for when things need to be repaired quickly and remain
a clean job. Although the welding ability is not required for this position, basic skills in this field are helpful when
presented with difficult installations. The mechanic is expected to be knowledgeable in the use of their tools. Mechanics
are expected to be given a task, and effectively perform that task under the guidance of his/her Working Supervisor. The
Mechanic will also defer to the lead-man on the project when making an installation decision. Mechanics must keep
communication channels open, and always ask for help when needed.
Essential Job Duties/Functions:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties to customize belts and rubber components to customer
requirements. The position also requires willingness to work on none belt related duties. This includes general
mechanical, metal fabrication, and general supervision.
The Vulcanizing/Belt Technician is responsible for performing all corrective and preventive maintenance on rubber and
PVC belting. Work may vary from industry to industry, but the skills outlined below are used in every aspect of the job
title.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interface with the customer to ensure satisfaction in every aspect of the job.

Completes all required safety training within required timeframes (MSHA 48, OSHA 30)

REQUIREMENTS:
