NEWLY-DESIGNED AIRLOCK VALVE IS
A COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTION TO ROTARY VALVES

The industry’s leader in industrial dust collection and material handling solutions, announces a newly designed Vacu-Valve® airlock valve one of the lowest-cost, lowest-maintenance dust collector valves available. The Vacu-Valve is a trickle valve that operates as a constant discharge valve for dust collectors, hoppers, cyclones and other equipment operating under negative pressure. Its unique duck bill design allows it to dispense free-flowing material continuously. The Vacu-Valve is available in the open design of the Platypus or the closed design of the Armadillo.

The new design offers a square flange or circular flange to better accommodate your dust collection system. This low-maintenance trickle valve is self-actuating, does not require lubrication, and has no controls or power requirements. This unit is perfect for “keep empty” dust collection units and is offered in carbon steel or stainless steel versions. The replaceable duck bill sleeves are available in Neoprene, White Nitrile, VHT, and Silicone. The variety of sleeve materials allows the Vacu-Valve to accommodate a wide range of applications.

The Vacu-Valves are typically utilized in industries such as foundries, mining, cement, pharmaceutical, dry foods, plastics, chemical and manufacturing.

Aerodyne Vacu-Valves have been efficiently and economically emptying particulate from dust collectors and bag houses. These low-cost trickle valves are an economical alternative to expensive rotary airlock valves.
